Our story

With the breakdown of my marriage, one dream ended and many nightmares began.  Compounding the emotional turmoil, I worried about my finances and, of course, my children.  Then, as now, they were my first concern and   I was determined to protect them and to secure their future.

As a client, I sought the ‘best’ legal team in town – after all, I had to take critical, long-term decisions on the strength of their advice.  But I soon realised it wasn’t so simple.  I needed more than fighting talk.  I wanted my lawyers to take up my struggle as though it was their own.

Afterwards, I founded Kirby & Co. for people like me.  While clients appreciate our sensitivity in difficult times, opponents respect us as tough negotiators and determined litigants.  We provide a personal service of high quality at good value.  Over ten years on, the firm is growing because we remain true to those values.
